Sales Administrator / Support Specialist

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (with 1 hour for lunch / 37.5 hours per week)

Location: In person – Scan Computers International Ltd, Enterprise Park, Middlebrook, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 6PE

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding company. We’re looking for a organized, detail-oriented team player to join the Scan Managed Accounts (SMA) Team in a crucial support role. You will keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly by handling logisistical and financial admin, ensuring our accounts team and customers receive seamless service.

As the role is office-based at our headquarters in Horwich, we expect applicants to live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate for the position.

The Role

Invoice Processing: Accurately handle and process sales invoices and order documentation.
Logistics & Courier Booking: Coordinate with couriers, book shipments, and track deliveries to ensure timely customer fulfillment.
Daily Administrative Support: Perform essential daily admin tasks to keep sales operations structured and efficient.
System Management: Collate key data using various internal systems and databases, keeping tracking tools like Trello up to date.
SMA Team Support: Assist account managers and the wider team with administrative workflows as needed.
Maintain Standards: Maintain Scan’s high standards, accuracy, and excellent reputation across all admin duties.

The Candidate

Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High quality, professional communication skills (both written and verbal).
Good IT literacy and comfort learning new internal systems/databases.
A proactive, energetic, and solution-focused approach.
High levels of effort, commitment, and reliability.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a supportive team.
Interest in the IT and technology industry is a bonus.
