Full job description

Location: Working from Home – South East Sites
Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, typically 08:30–17:30
SIA Licence: Required
Full UK Driving Licence: Required

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated South East Regional Director to take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of an established portfolio of security contracts across London and the South East.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and support a team of Operations Managers, ensuring high standards of service delivery, client satisfaction and operational performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional looking to take the next step in their career within a senior leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Take full operational responsibility for the London and South East region.
Lead, support and develop a team of Operations Managers.
Help drive business growth through effective strategy development.
Conduct regular monthly 1:2:1 meetings with Operations Managers.
Carry out staff welfare visits, appraisals and investigations.
Provide strong leadership, team building and staff development.
Ensure compliance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Implement and maintain correct client and company procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Respond promptly and professionally to client requests and operational issues.
Identify potential security risks and implement appropriate solutions.
Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure excellent customer service is maintained across the region.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience within the security industry.
Previous management experience within the security sector.
Previous experience in an operational role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to risk assess and identify actual or potential security compromises.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Hardworking, reliable, self-motivated and trustworthy.
A positive “can-do” attitude.
Full UK driving licence.
Current SIA licence.
