Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a positive experience at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle various customer interactions efficiently. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries promptly and professionally
Take orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using POS systems
Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and dietary options, ensuring food safety standards are maintained
Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations
Manage multiple tasks such as handling payments, organising orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the service area
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or complaints courteously and effectively
Maintain organisation of supplies and stock levels to ensure smooth operations during shifts
Support team members during busy periods to deliver seamless service

Experience

Previous experience in food safety, serving, or barista roles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new staff
Experience in food preparation or similar customer-facing roles is advantageous
Basic maths skills are essential for handling transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
