Contract Type: Permanent / Part Time
Hours of work: 16 hours per week

About the Role
As a Post Office Retail Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of providing fantastic service to our customers. Working in our SPAR store, you’ll deliver both everyday retail services and a wide range of Post Office transactions. You’ll work with a friendly, supportive team, helping the store run smoothly while ensuring every customer has a positive experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in the daily running of the store and Post Office, including:

Delivering excellent customer service across both retail and Post Office counters.
Processing Post Office transactions such as postage, parcels, bill payments, banking services, and other available products.
Operating the till, handling cash securely, and reconciling transactions accurately.
Managing stock levels, replenishing shelves, and controlling waste.
Maintaining store and Post Office security in line with company procedures.
Providing advice and guidance to customers on Post Office products and services.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Previous experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is desirable but full training will be provided.
Employment in this role is subject to successfully obtaining a P250 Post Office security clearance.
