Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Painting and Decorating specialist, where your skills will transform spaces and bring visions to life! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential homes to commercial buildings, applying your expertise in construction painting and decorative finishes. Duties

Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative coatings with precision and attention to detail
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Assist with site setup and cleanup to maintain an organized workspace throughout each project
Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between job sites

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Valid driving license with reliable transportation for travel between multiple job sites
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, or instructions in English
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Knowledge of safety standards related to painting, decorating, working at heights, and handling hazardous materials
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights for extended periods
