Event Sales Assistant

From £25,000 per annum

Full time hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Birmingham

Permanent

Golden Events are currently recruiting for an Event Sales Assistant to join their established events team.

Job Description:

The role will involve liaising with new & existing clients with regards to corporate & private events, conference & banqueting.
You will convert leads into bookings - maximising revenue & profitability from opportunities around events.
Ensure that event details are accurately recorded - including dates, times, customer requirements, contact details and financial details.
Ensure that plans are effectively communicated both internally & externally, working closely with the wider events team.
Encouraging repeat business with existing clients.
Produce written quotations and contracts.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have some experience in sales and ideally have an understanding of the Event industry.
As a client facing role it is essential that you have a confident telephone manner, an outward personality and an understanding of the importance of building strong client relationships,
A willingness to travel and a commercially driven attitude towards achieving new client wins.
Driving licence – desirable.
Must be flexible with days and hours of working.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Sales: 1 year (preferred)
