Full job description

Assistant Management Accountant In Lichfield

We are looking for an assistant management accountant to join the team to assist in the production of management accounts alongside monthly and quarterly inputting and reporting of statistical data.

Key tasks:

To assist with the month end process, preparation of accurate monthly management accounts.
To produce accruals and prepayments monthly.

Intercompany Account reconciliations.

VAT Returns
Financial Analysis and review to ensure transactions are allocated correctly within the accounts
Ensure month end activities are completed accurately and within the required timescales

Bank reconciliation
Process invoices and liaise with managers to resolve queries
Reconcile Purchase and Credit Card statements
Prepare payment runs for suppliers
Post to and monitor control accounts,
Assist with account reconciliations
General Ledger and administration duties where required

Candidate requirements:

Recent Accounts and/or Sales or Purchase Ledger experience
Recent experience of SAGE LINE 50 accounting software
Good computer skills, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communicator, comfortable dealing with colleagues at all levels
Process and deadline orientated
Any other duties you may reasonably be requested to carry out –

Job Type: Full-time - Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Experience:

Accounting: 3 year (Required)
Sage: In House experience 3 years MINIMUM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
