Full job description

Be the First Smile Our Patients See!

We are One Smile Dental a modern, mixed NHS/Private practice in Portsmouth and we are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionists to be the welcoming face of our new team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new, in a supportive and fast-paced environment where every day brings something different.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism
Managing the appointment system (Dentally) and maintaining accurate patient records
Answering phone calls, responding to emails and handling general enquiries
Taking payments and processing both NHS and private treatment plans
Supporting clinicians with day-to-day administrative tasks
Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the front desk
Assisting occasionally with back-office support and patient flow

What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once
A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare reception role is desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided!
