We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Recruitment Consultant (360) to spearhead talent acquisition efforts within the US renewable energy market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end recruitment processes, build strong relationships with clients and candidates, and drive growth through innovative sourcing strategies. You will leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service, ensuring the right talent matches the right opportunities. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help us expand our footprint and strengthen our reputation as a top-tier recruitment partner.

Who we are:

We’re Sustainable Talent — a specialist recruitment business operating in the renewable energy sector. We work in a relationship-first way with both clients and candidates and are now looking to hire an experienced or commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to run a full 360 desk in a busy US market

This role suits someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, taking ownership of their desk, and developing clients and candidates over time — not quick wins or short-term moves.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, owning both candidates and clients:

Developing new client relationships and growing existing accounts
Managing job spec calls, candidate delivery, interviews, offers, and aftercare
Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
Providing a consultative service to clients and candidates
Managing your desk commercially with clear billing expectations
Keeping ATS records accurate and compliant

What we’re looking for:

We’re open on background, but not on mindset or CV patterns.

Option 1 – Recruitment experience

Previous experience running a 360-recruitment desk (preferably in the US market)
Experience with no more than 1–2 recruitment companies
Comfortable with business development and account management

Candidates who have worked at multiple agencies in short periods will not be considered.

Option 2 – No recruitment experience

Strong sales background (ideally B2B)
2+ years in one sales role showing stability and progression
Evidence of relationship-building rather than transactional selling

CVs with frequent job moves or short stints will not be considered.

The right person will be

Relationship-led and commercially minded
Comfortable picking up the phone and having meaningful conversations
Inquisitive, engaging, and confident building trust
Motivated to build a long-term career, not a stepping stone
Organised, resilient, and accountable

Working pattern:

This is an office-based role (one day per week WFH after training period).
Applicants must be happy with regular office attendance.
