Experienced Landscaper

Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire & Rutland | Around £47,000 total package | 4.5 day week, paid for 5

If you're good on the tools and sick of firms that talk about quality but never build it, read on.

We're The Leicester Landscaping Company. We build high end garden transformations for domestic clients across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland, and we're adding an experienced landscaper to one of our construction teams.

What the job looks like

You'll be part of a settled crew building full garden transformations, usually one project at a time, from groundworks through to the finished garden. These are proper builds for clients who care about the detail, which means we care about it too. The work is varied enough that you'll never spend a year doing nothing but paving, and the standard is high enough that you'll get better every month you're here.

It's also a company worth progressing in. We promote from within, and people who prove themselves don't stay on the same money doing the same job for years.

The day to day

Sandstone and porcelain paving, laid properly

Pergolas, sleeper walls, screening and decking you'd put your own name on

Planting and turfing

Everything else a properly rounded landscaper handles

What we need from you

Solid landscaping experience and a finish you're proud of

Hardworking, reliable, trustworthy

A good team member who pulls their weight without being chased

Excellent customer service skills, because you'll be working in people's gardens and often in front of the client

Full UK driving licence

The money

Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience, and that's just the start of it:

Overtime at time and a half, worth around £8,000 a year to the average team member, just under £700 a month

Monthly bonuses averaging around £4,000 a year, just over £300 a month

Add it up and most of our landscapers take home somewhere around £47,000.
