Full job description

We are looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join the team at Lickhill Manor Caravan Park. The role involves leading our small grounds team while taking an active part in the maintenance, development and presentation of the park.

About the Role

· Plan and coordinate daily workloads with the Park Managers and supervise grounds staff and contractors.

· Undertake practical plumbing, basic electrical tasks, carpentry, groundworks.

· Assist with pitch development, landscaping and other park improvement projects.

· Assist with the siting and de-siting of holiday homes, including associated connections and fixings.

· Carry out general repairs and maintenance across park, touring areas and holiday home pitches.

· Liaise with contractors and suppliers and order tools, materials and equipment as required.

· Maintain park vehicles, lawnmowers, tractors and other machinery.

· Carry out routine safety checks, water testing and relevant compliance records.

· Support seasonal preparation, including winterisation and spring opening.

· Help ensure safe working practices and high presentation standards across the park.

Required Skills & Qualities

· Practical, hands-on and confident undertaking a wide range of maintenance tasks.

· Experience in facilities maintenance, a trade or grounds work is preferred, but not essential.

· Experience supervising grounds staff, labourers or contractors would be beneficial.

· Practical knowledge of plumbing, groundworks and basic electrics.

· A reliable, can-do approach with good problem-solving skills.

· Full UK driving licence.

· Competence operating tractors, ride-on mowers or similar machinery.

Working Hours

· Full-time, permanent position.

· Predominantly Monday to Friday.

· Very occasional weekend working may be required.

Pay & Benefits

· £13.35 per hour.
