Dental Practice Manager
Kreate Dental | Rugby, Warwickshire Full-time | £38,000–£42,000 per year
Lead a growing private dental practice — with the autonomy to make it your own
Following the well-deserved promotion of our current Practice Manager within the group, we are looking for a confident, commercially minded leader to take the helm at our newly refurbished mixed dental practice in Rugby.
This is a genuine opportunity to lead an established four-surgery practice, manage a team of approximately 20 colleagues, and play a hands-on role in driving our private dental services forward. The practice operates across both NHS and private dentistry, and you will be responsible for ensuring both run smoothly with a particular focus on growing our private offering.
With the support of a dedicated in-house marketing team, a consistent flow of new patient enquiries and an accessible and approachable senior leadership team, you will have everything you need to succeed and the freedom to make your mark.
Why Kreate Dental?
We are a growing dental group with a straightforward philosophy: give our Practice Managers the autonomy to lead, back them with real support, and build careers together as the group expands.
You will not be left to figure things out alone. Whether you need guidance, a second opinion or practical help, experienced colleagues and senior leaders are always close at hand. At the same time, your ideas will be heard, your contribution will be recognised, and you will have genuine opportunities to grow with us.
You can expect:
- A salary of £38,000–£42,000
- An approachable and accessible senior leadership team, not a distant head office!
- Autonomy to lead the practice and make a measurable impact
- Direct involvement in commercial operations, private service development and practice growth
- A dedicated in-house marketing team to support patient acquisition and campaigns
- Training and professional-development support from day one
- A collaborative culture across the wider group where ideas and best practice are shared
- Genuine career progression as we expand
The Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team and founders, you will be responsible for the smooth, compliant and commercially successful operation of the practice.
A key focus will be developing our private dental services including orthodontics, dental implants, Invisalign, composite bonding and smile makeovers working alongside clinicians, the marketing team and senior leadership to generate demand, optimise diaries and ensure every patient has a seamless journey from first enquiry through to treatment completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of approximately 20 colleagues
- Managing rotas, staffing and the day-to-day operation of the practice
- Building a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
- Developing and implementing plans to grow private dentistry
- Ensuring new patient enquiries are handled promptly, professionally and effectively
- Monitoring key metrics including enquiry conversion, diary utilisation, revenue and patient retention and using data to identify opportunities and address challenges
- Overseeing NHS contract compliance and contractual commitments alongside private growth
- Ensuring the practice meets all compliance, clinical governance and regulatory requirements
- Managing patient feedback, complaints and the practice’s reputation
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and performance reviews
- Collaborating with senior leadership on wider business development
In your first year, you will be working towards clear, agreed targets around private conversion rates, diary utilisation and patient satisfaction with full support to help you get there.
About You

- Is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
- Communicates confidently with patients, clinicians and colleagues at all levels
- Is comfortable using digital systems and learning new technology
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative is valued and rewarded
Dental practice management experience is an advantage, but not essential.
