Job Title: Maintenance Person / Handyman
Location: Oakleigh Residential Care Home, Huntingdon
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)
Salary: Hourly rate / salary negotiable depending on experience and suitability

Oakleigh Residential Care Home is a welcoming 25-bed residential dementia care home in Huntingdon. We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Person / Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of our home.

Key Duties

Carry out general repairs and maintenance around the care home
Complete health and safety checks and report any issues
Undertake painting, decorating, and basic refurbishment work
Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
Respond to urgent maintenance issues when required

What We’re Looking For

Previous handyman or maintenance experience
Good practical skills and problem-solving ability
Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

Salary or hourly rate is negotiable for suitable candidates depending on experience and qualifications.
