Job Overview

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Part Time Bakery Assistant and bring joy to our customers through delicious baked goods and exceptional service! Duties

Assist in preparing baked goods, including mixing, portioning, and decorating products to meet quality standards
Support the food production process by following recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, including equipment and storage areas
Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
Restock display cases and shelves with freshly baked items to keep the bakery inviting and well-supplied
Support the team during busy periods by helping with customer service and checkout procedures
Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Skills

Experience in food production, food preparation, or baking is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment use
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a bakery or restaurant setting
Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality presentation of baked goods
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills to assist customers courteously and effectively
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to the team atmosphere
