Full job description

If you’re an experienced Supervisor or Team Leader, or an experienced Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, Headlam have the role for you. As Trade Counter Supervisor you will help the Manager to lead the team on-site, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service and adherence to safety and operational standards.

You Will

Assist with stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised counter area.
Help implement promotions, pricing updates, and visual merchandising in line with company standards.
Provide coaching and support to Trade Counter Assistants, helping to maintain performance and engagement.
Promote and uphold a safety-first culture by following and reinforcing health & safety procedures.
Support the Trade Counter Management Team in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, team coordination, and maintaining service standards.

About you:

Experience in a trade counter, retail, or warehouse environment.
Previous responsibility for opening/closing or supervising shifts.
Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.
