DENTAL RECEPTIONIST, BRIERFIELD DENTAL PRACTICE, BLACKBURN BB9 5SN

Full-Time\Monday-Friday\40 Hours Per Week

Join Our Friendly Front-of-House Team

We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist or Dental Nurse with reception experience to join the friendly team at Brierfield Dental Practice, Blackburn, BB9 5SN.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills and takes pride in providing a welcoming, professional experience for every patient.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, offering the opportunity to become an integral part of our established practice team.

The Role

You will be an important part of the practice team, welcoming patients and helping to ensure their journey is smooth and positive from their first enquiry through to treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
Managing appointments, diaries, patient records and payments
Answering telephone and online enquiries
Converting enquiries into appointments where appropriate
Discussing treatment options, finance and membership plans confidently
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team
Supporting the day-to-day running of the reception area
Promoting practice services and membership plans
Supporting social media, marketing and patient engagement initiatives

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous dental reception experience, or is a Dental Nurse with strong reception experience
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is confident, friendly and professional with patients
Is organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment
Has good IT skills and is comfortable using dental software
Has a proactive approach and enjoys working as part of a team
Sales or treatment-coordination experience would be advantageous
