Full job description

Based in Coventry, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

Deliver high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and staff scheduling.
Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional development.
Manage front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling and client check-ins.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Proficiency in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
Experience in barbering is an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable.
Ability to mentor and guide less experienced stylists.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A friendly and approachable demeanour that promotes a positive salon atmosphere.
