Full job description

Join the GB Concrete Mix Team

Due to continued growth, GB Concrete Mix is looking for a reliable and motivated Class 2 (Category C) Volumetric Concrete Truck Driver to join our friendly and professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career with a growing company. Previous experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer is not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 volumetric concrete mixer truck.
Produce and deliver high-quality concrete to customer sites.
Carry out daily vehicle and plant safety checks.
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company positively on site.
Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer is not required as full training will be provided.
