Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer with a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in supporting various site operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and efficiency across the work environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to maintaining a productive and compliant workplace. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Duties

Assist with general site maintenance, including cleaning, tidying, and organizing work areas to promote a safe environment
Support the delivery and collection of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
Help with loading and unloading supplies or equipment as directed by supervisors
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or hazards on site
Maintain accurate records of tasks completed, materials used, and any incidents or issues encountered
Support team members with various manual tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Ensure all activities comply with site-specific safety regulations and procedures

Experience

Previous experience in manual labour or construction-related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Valid DBS clearance is required for this position, demonstrating a clean criminal record suitable for working with vulnerable groups or sensitive environments
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work requirements
