Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical electrical experience to develop their skills further within a professional environment. The position involves working under supervision to ensure that all electrical tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified electricians in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools to carry out electrical tasks accurately and safely.
Support the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications to aid in installation processes.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Report any faults or issues encountered during work to senior team members promptly.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols during daily activities to minimise risks.

Requirements

Practical experience with electrical work or relevant training is essential.
IPAF
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc. and power tools like drills and saws.
Demonstrable electrical experience with a good understanding of wiring systems and components.
Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions accurately.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
