Dinnington Group Practice

Dinnington Group Practice is a large busy training practice with the main surgeries at Dinnington and Anston and a smaller branch surgery at Woodsetts.

We provide health care for around 21,000 patients and are part of the Rother Valley South Primary Care Network We pride ourselves on our friendliness and teamworking. We have a very supportive working environment and are always looking for ways to improve.

We are seeking a candidate for the following post to join our team working at Dinnington Medical Centre

Medical Receptionist

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 26.25 per week (5 days a week Monday to Friday )

It is a two week shift pattern of mornings and afternoons. the morning shift hours are 8.00am - 1.15pm. the afternoon shift hours are 1.15pm - 6.30pm.

Main duties:

Main Duties:

To answer patient queries via phone or in person when appropriate.
To contact patients with follow-up information as directed by clinicians.
To arrange routine follow-ups investigations or reviews on behalf of clinicians.
To action waiting lists and contact patients
To contact patients to arrange necessary tests i.e BP appointments, bloods
To carry out general reception duties
To act as a point of contact between patients and clinical staff.
To signpost patients to services under guidance from clinical staff.

Skills:

Customer Service Keyboard and Computer skills are essential. Previous experience as a Doctors receptionist is desirable but not essential.
