About Hollybeck

Hollybeck is a friendly, down-to-earth mortgage and protection brokerage based in Derby. Since launching in 2016, we have grown steadily through reputation, referrals and exceptional client service.

We focus on quality rather than volume, building long-term relationships and guiding clients through every step of their mortgage and protection journey.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Insurance & Mortgage Administrator / Client Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already has experience within mortgages, protection, insurance or financial services and can confidently support our advisers from day one.

As well as managing mortgage and protection applications through to completion, you will play an active role in helping place cases by speaking with lenders and providers, researching criteria, exploring options and supporting advisers in finding the best solutions for clients.

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of cases, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage mortgage and protection cases from application through to completion

Liaise with clients, advisers, lenders, insurers, solicitors and providers

Chase outstanding requirements and ensure cases progress smoothly

Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation

Research lender and provider criteria to assist with case placement

Speak with lenders and protection providers regarding client-specific scenarios

Support advisers with more complex cases and problem-solving

Prepare and manage client communications and supporting documentation

Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the customer journey

Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and support business growth

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in mortgage, protection, insurance or financial services administration

Experience managing cases from application through to completion

Ability to confidently discuss client scenarios with lenders and providers

Strong organisational and case management skills

Excellent attention to detail

Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Able to commute to our Derby office

Desirable

CeMAP qualified or working towards CeMAP

Previous mortgage or protection adviser experience

Experience preparing suitability letters

Knowledge of mortgage and protection products

Familiarity with lender criteria and protection underwriting

Experience supporting advisers within a regulated environment
