Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor/Assistant Manager to oversee daily bar operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a solid background in food and beverage management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with previous supervisory or managerial experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily bar activities, ensuring smooth operation during shifts.
Lead and motivate bar staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards of service.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.
Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional events or special offerings to attract customers.

Experience

Proven supervising or managerial experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
Experience in serving beverages
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Previous experience in hospitality leadership roles demonstrating team management skills.
Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments that emphasise excellent customer service standards.
Competence in supervising food safety practices and maintaining high hygiene standards.
