We're looking for a Payroll Professional to join our team in Beverley. Full-time working is preferred, although part-time applications will also be considered.

What will your days look like?

No two days are quite the same. You'll work with a diverse range of clients across different sectors, helping them manage their payroll responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Your role may include:

Processing payrolls ranging from straightforward monthly runs through to more complex payroll requirements.

Assisting with the setup of new payroll clients.
Maintaining and updating employee payroll records.
Processing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and other payroll-related calculations.
Supporting Construction Industry Scheme requirements where applicable.
Preparing payroll reports and management information for clients.
Responding to client queries and providing a professional, helpful service.
Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.

This is a role where you'll be trusted to take ownership, contribute to the success of the team and continue developing your skills.

Who we're looking for

You will ideally have a minimum of two years previous experience working within a payroll environment and be confident managing payroll processes from start to finish.

You will also bring:

A proven track record in payroll administration and payroll reporting.
Good working knowledge of payroll legislation and processes.
An understanding of RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP, P45s and auto-enrolment pensions.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
Experience using payroll software and confidence working across different systems.
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
Sage, BrightPay and Xero experience.
