Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with proven leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate our front of house staff. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the front of house, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Supervise and train front of house staff, including waitstaff, bartenders, and hosts, to deliver outstanding service.
Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality standards are met.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to enhance customer experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.
Implement training programs for new staff on hospitality best practices and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or culinary sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in bartending or managing bar operations is advantageous.
A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences.
