Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your hands-on expertise and proactive attitude will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while contributing to impactful outdoor and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and turf care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators to perform excavation, digging, and site preparation activities
Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure efficient water management
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance
Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including proper handling of machinery and hazardous materials
Collaborate with team members on construction sites to support various phases of project execution
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, landscaping, or horticulture environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and gardening techniques
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators effectively
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their installation or repair processes
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
