Full job description

Express Solutions Group is the go-to expert in hire, commercial drainage, facilities management, gas work, building refurbishment, and heating. We combine modern technology, data-driven decision-making, and integrated service delivery to support projects of any size or complexity. With a fast-paced, collaborative environment and strong opportunities for growth, we’re expanding our team and looking for a proactive Operations Coordinator to join our hire department.

Job Objectives:

To play a key role in ensuring our fast-moving hire operations run smoothly, supporting the hire department, maintaining the efficient running of our Doncaster office, and working closely with our Staines office to deliver an outstanding experience for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain hire equipment through the online portals
Raising hire quotation
Chasing hire extension POs
Invoicing hire extension Jobs
Update internal documents for tracking and management of daily hire equipment.
Planning transport of hire equipment ensuring the routing is practicable, cost effective and meets customer expectations
Check deliveries and collections are on time and all relevant delivery and collection checks are complete
Sourcing hire replacement parts
Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
Assist in the company’s administration requirements, including raising purchase orders.
Supporting general day-to-day operations outside of hire requirements where necessary.
Proactively manage and resolve any issues that arise from hire checks.
Answering incoming calls & directing them to the correct department.

Skills Required:

Previous experience working within the hire industry is extremely desirable.
Good IT/ Computer Skills. MS office including Excel, Outlook and Experience in database entry.
Strong telephone skills will be essential.
Minimum 2 years office experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage your own time and prioritise effectively.
Ability to multitask.
Can work independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
Commitment to learn and develop.
Experience using Big Change CRM System desirable or Experience of using a CRM for tracking and monitoring jobs.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full-time, Permanent)
