Office Administrator, Customer Service & Order Fulfilment

Join our creative craft business, supporting the day-to-day running of our successful e-commerce store, workshop studio and events.

Middle Aston, Bicester, OX25 5PP

Full-time | 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday (8:30am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm)

In-office role (no remote working)

About Us

The Indian Block Print Co. is a creative and growing business specialising in the traditional art of Indian block printing. We inspire thousands of customers across the UK through our online store, creative workshops, and events, providing high-quality printing supplies alongside unique learning experiences.

Our business operates across three key areas:

E-commerce – We sell a carefully curated range of Indian block printing supplies through our successful online store.
Workshops & Studio – We host regular block printing workshops and experiences from our Oxfordshire studio.
Events & Shows – We attend craft fairs and exhibitions across the UK, sharing our passion for block printing with customers in person.

We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual to become an important part of our small team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll help keep the business running smoothly by supporting customer service, processing orders, assisting with workshop administration and carrying out a wide range of day-to-day office tasks.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing friendly and professional customer service via email and telephone.
Picking, packing and dispatching online and telephone orders accurately and efficiently.
Processing customer orders and carrying out quality checks before dispatch.
Managing wholesale orders and liaising with stockists.
Supporting the day-to-day administration of the business.
Assisting with workshop bookings and customer enquiries.
Monitoring stock levels and helping maintain inventory accuracy.
Coordinating incoming deliveries and organising stock within the warehouse.
Helping ensure the office, workshop and fulfilment areas remain organised and efficient.
Supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Enjoys providing exceptional customer service.
Can prioritise tasks and remain calm in a busy environment.
Is confident using email and computer-based systems.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Is proactive, reliable and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
Works well independently as well as part of a small team.
Has previous experience in administration, customer service, e-commerce or order fulfilment (preferred).
Holds a full UK driving licence.
Has an interest in crafts or creative businesses (desirable, but not essential).

Working Hours

Full-time (40 hours per week).
Monday to Friday, either 8:30am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm.
Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods, such as Christmas.
Very occasional weekend work may be required for events or workshops.
