Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, professional finishes to a variety of interior and exterior spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming environments through expert painting techniques and decorative finishes. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to creating inspiring spaces that meet client expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic decorating team.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative coatings using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with precision and care
Interpret project specifications and work closely with clients or project managers to achieve desired aesthetic results
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Conduct routine inspections during projects to ensure quality control and address any touch-ups or adjustments needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in painting, decorating,
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorative finishes
