About the Role

You will be at the heart of our customer journey, ensuring every customer receives a professional, friendly and personalised service from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
Welcoming customers and identifying their individual needs.
Assisting customers with frame selection, styling advice and product recommendations.
Accurately interpreting prescriptions and dispensing single vision, multifocal and high-index lenses.
Conducting professional spectacle collections, ensuring fit, comfort and visual performance are checked where appropriate.
Booking, amending and managing appointments using in-store systems.
Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Completing customer records and paperwork to a high standard.
Understanding and following NHS guidelines, policies and procedures.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Acting as a positive ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has current optical experience, optical experience within the last 5 years, or a strong background in customer service and/or retail.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer care.
Is organised, accurate and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Takes pride in providing a professional and welcoming service.
Is eager to learn and develop within a supportive team environment.
