Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of catering services, providing exceptional support during events, and contributing to an outstanding guest experience. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established standards.
Set up and dismantle catering equipment for events, ensuring all areas are clean and organised.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.
Collaborate with chefs and other staff to ensure timely service during events.
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations throughout the catering process.
Support bartending activities as needed, including serving beverages and managing stock levels.
Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and organising supplies.

Skills

Sone background in hospitality, with experience in catering or restaurant environments preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Flexibility to assist in various roles as required
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and helping others.
