Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Restock supplies and manage stock levels to ensure smooth service during shifts
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and handle any queries or complaints professionally
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service best practices
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt as needed
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
