Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, You will be supporting the Hub Manager, by taking ownership of the team, ensuring that operational targets and SLA's are met, site Health & Safety is upheld and any team escalations are dealt with.

You will supervise about 5-6 operatives across Warehouse operation, so ideally, you will have team lead or supervision experience from a Logistics/Distribution background, Have great stock management knowledge and able to effectively communicate across different stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s,
Allocating workload, managing priorities and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines,
Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors and ensuring orders are packed correctly,
Coaching team members on processes, safe working and best practice to improve performance,
Ensuring goods are handled, stored and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity,
Maintaining warehouse Heath & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping,
Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable),
Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service/transport/branch teams) to resolve issues quickly,
Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers and External agency support.
