Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and professional Body Piercer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body modification and excellent customer service skills, ensuring clients receive a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where creativity and professionalism are highly valued. The Body Piercer will be responsible for performing piercings with precision while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Previous experience in management, social media management, or hospitality is advantageous, as the role also involves engaging with clients and promoting our services through various channels. This position is paid and offers opportunities for professional development within the organisation.

Duties

Perform body piercings with accuracy, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the piercing process and aftercare instructions
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilised
Manage appointment scheduling and client records efficiently
Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing enquiries
Promote services through social media management to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Upsell additional treatments such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massages where appropriate
Engage with clients to build rapport and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
Support management in organising promotional events or special offers

Skills

Proven experience in body piercing or similar body modification procedures
Strong management skills with the ability to oversee daily operations effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
Customer service expertise with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Knowledge of hospitality or guest services to ensure a welcoming environment
Ability to upsell services tactfully to maximise client satisfaction and business growth

This is a self-employed role within our Skins & Needles Middlesbrough branch.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual who combines technical proficiency with excellent interpersonal skills. We welcome applicants eager to grow within a creative industry while delivering outstanding service in a professional setting.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
