Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in food preparation, kitchen management, and team supervision within a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Monitor food safety practices and ensure adherence to hygiene standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary options
Ensure all dishes are prepared within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management
Experience in restaurant service or hospitality is highly desirable
