Dispatch Assistant

37.5hrs per week

Monday - Friday between 8AM & 7PM

Company Details

Walkboost Ltd was established in 2003 and consists of 3 Pharmaceutical companies; all the companies are based in Bolton. In total Walkboost Group has c150 staff. Maxearn Ltd is a parallel import company; Quadrant Pharmaceuticals Limited is a licensing company; Eaststone Ltd is a Specials manufacturing company.

Job Description

Dispatch is a department within Eaststone Limited which receives finished products from the production laboratory, receives orders that are third party/stock, and ensures that all items are correctly dispatched by the end of the working day. Will have the oversight for receiving, booking in & storing raw materials & finished goods in our warehouse & movement of these goods within the business.

Daily Activities

Process third-party orders received from the office accurately and efficiently.
Match manufactured products with the correct documentation prior to final checks.
Prepare and verify shipping labels, ensuring multiple orders are consolidated where appropriate.
Ensure all required paperwork is completed and included before dispatch.
Pack, check, and prepare orders to meet daily courier collection deadlines.
Carry out third-party product pack-down activities in line with company procedures.
Support monthly stock takes and ongoing stock rotation activities.
Assist with the packaging and safe handling of goods.
Receive, book in, and store incoming goods and materials accurately.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and correct product labelling standards.
Support the movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods within the business.
Undertake additional duties as required by the Dispatch Lead.

Experience Required

Working in a dispatch, warehouse, logistics, stores, manufacturing, or goods-in/goods-out environment.
Handling stock, preparing orders, packing goods, and completing dispatch documentation.
Familiarity with inventory control, stock rotation, and goods receiving processes is desirable.
Experience working within a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or quality-controlled environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and follow written procedures.
