Full job description

Overview

We are an established family firm of village based estate agents approaching 40 years in business. Our current sales manager is retiring after 15 years, and has created a valuable reputation as an honest, hardworking property professional, trusted by the many clients and well known for their local knowledge of the Downland communities. The current manager is leaving at the end of this year, so there is an opportunity to have a month or so handover.

Duties

Lead and manage the residential sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the local market to maximize revenue opportunities.
Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Maintain organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
Communicate clearly and regularly with clients, team members, and external partners if applicable to enhance engagement.
Conduct regular training sessions to improve team performance, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that attract prospective buyers and increase brand visibility.

Experience

Proven experience in residential property sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong administrative experience managing documentation, contracts, AML and client records efficiently.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience leading or supervising a sales colleague is preferred, along with a proactive attitude towards coaching and motivation.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
