Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our golf course greens team as a Qualified Greenkeeper or a Greenkeeper with a interest in training as a Mechanic.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a small team of enthusiastic greenkeepers , maintaining both the golf course and the machinery essential to its presentation and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and preparation of the golf course to a high standard.
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
Assist with daily course maintenance tasks as required.
Ensure all machinery is maintained in a safe and operational condition.

The Ideal Candidate

It is imperative that you understand the importance of good time-keeping and punctuality within the role.

Essential:

Experience working as a Greenkeeper.
Good understanding of golf course maintenance.
Having a strong work ethic, firm desire to learn, being a flexible well-motivated team player.
NVQ Level 2 or above in sports turf care.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Desirable:

Mechnical Experience/Interest.

Full support and training to achieve mechnical qualification will be provided for the right candidate.
