Full job description

Administrator – Supported Living Provider

Location: Hybrid – Office & Home Working
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £12,000 per year
Holiday: 28 days per year
Overtime: Available
Pension: Workplace pension scheme

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised and friendly Administrator to join our supported living team.

This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day administration of our supported living service. You will work closely with the management team and staff to ensure that records, communication and general administration are kept organised and up to date.

The role offers flexible working hours with a combination of home working and office-based work, making it ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Providing general administrative support to the management and care teams
Answering emails and telephone enquiries
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Preparing documents, letters, reports and spreadsheets
Updating staff and service-user records
Supporting the organisation of meetings, appointments and rotas
Filing and maintaining confidential information
Assisting with compliance and quality-assurance administration
Liaising with staff, professionals and other relevant organisations
Providing general administrative support as required

Phone Cover

As part of the role, you will be required to provide 28 days of telephone cover per year on a rota basis.

This will involve being available to answer or respond to work-related calls during the agreed phone-cover periods. Full details of the arrangements will be discussed during the recruitment process.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and able to manage their own workload
Reliable and dependable
Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office
Able to communicate professionally and effectively
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
Flexible and willing to support the needs of the organisation
Ideally experienced in an administrative role, although relevant transferable experience will be considered

Previous experience within healthcare, social care or supported living would be advantageous but is not essential.
