Full job description

Overview
We are a very busy, friendly food testing laboratory (Southern Microbiological Services) based in West Buckland, Wellington, Somerset. We are seeking a part-time, detail-oriented and highly organised Receptionist to join our team. Hours are Monday & Tuesday 9am - 5pm and hourly pay is £12.71 per hour initially, increasing to £13.52 after training. We require someone who is flexible as you will need to cover for holiday and sickness for the other receptionist.

Duties to include:

Reception - dealing with customers face to face and over the phone; sending results; responding to customers queries via email and anything else that is required.

Regular use of the inhouse LIMS system.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar administrative or office support role
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Office Suite
Organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
