Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all drinks are prepared to the highest standards. Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to health and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a lively yet professional atmosphere.
Follow food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards throughout all duties.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
Good understanding of basic maths for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Proven time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly personality with excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A genuine interest in hospitality with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
