Job Summary:

The Marine Administrator provides essential support to the Marine Delivery Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of day-to-day marine operations through reliable and proactive administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Marine Delivery Team, including Marine Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
Assist with the coordination of marine operations
Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and delivery documentation related to marine works
Maintain accurate records of marine activities, including permits, licences, and compliance documentation
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, port authorities, and internal departments to resolve queries
Assist with reporting on marine progress, costs, and resource allocation
Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions for the marine team
Support health, safety, and environmental documentation specific to marine works

Technical Skills and Competencies:

Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, email) with strong administrative capability
Ability to work collaboratively with site-based and offshore teams

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:

Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or marine environments
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Experience supporting project delivery teams is advantageous
