Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, professional and organised Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming private dental practice.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm and professional reception experience while supporting the smooth running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Booking, amending and managing appointments
Taking payments and handling patient queries
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
Communicating effectively with patients, dentists and the wider practice team
Using practice management systems and general IT software
Supporting the day-to-day administration of the practice

The Ideal Candidate

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Good IT and computer skills
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Friendly, approachable and able to build rapport with patients
Able to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
Previous dental or healthcare reception experience is desirable, but not essential
