Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous/CDP Chef looking to progress to Head Chef to join our culinary team and report to our head chef. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership and team management skills will be essential in supervising kitchen staff and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and service.
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Supervising experience is essential, along with effective team management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Previous restaurant experience is essential.
