Full job description

Lincolnshire Herbs is a leading supplier of living herbs and cut herbs. We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical bias to join our dynamic team.

Working Hours - 40 hours per week, Lates 6pm to 3am

Working Days Sunday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of machinery, site equipment, and building infrastructure.
Support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
Coordinate with contractors on-site and ensure compliance with permits and safety procedures.
Maintain and improve the site’s Preventative Maintenance Programme.
Complete maintenance logs, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with BRC and customer standards.
Promote continuous improvement, 5S practices, and sustainable engineering solutions.
Participate in a call-out rota and provide cover for the Engineering Manager when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
