Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively and dynamic environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, offering recommendations and ensuring satisfaction
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service
Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change
Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
A valid personal licence or willingness to obtain one prior to employment is desirable
