Full job description

Hornspit Medical Centre is looking to recruit a GP Receptionist to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

The role is Monday to Friday with various shifts between 8am – 6.30pm. Hours available are from 16 – 20 per week but sickness and holiday cover will sometimes be required. With possible ADHOC Saturday PCN clinics also.

Please do not apply if you cannot potentially fulfil these hours.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in an administrative role with good communication and IT skills, preferably in an NHS setting.

The job includes engaging with patients face to face, handling incoming calls, logging data onto the EMIS system (experience desirable, however not essential), updating patient records, dealing with sensitive information, booking appointments, and sorting prescription requests and medical queries.

Pay is dependent on experience
