Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Door Supervisor and become the frontline guardian of safety and order at our vibrant venue. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by managing access, monitoring activities, and ensuring a welcoming yet controlled atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents, support loss prevention efforts, and uphold the venue’s reputation for safety and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security expertise while contributing to an energetic environment.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FRIDAY & SATURDAY LATE NIGHTS & BANK HOLIDAYS IF REQUESTED.

Responsibilities

Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals gain access
Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity in real-time
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies, following proper protocols and procedures
Enforce venue policies consistently, addressing unruly behavior or violations with professionalism and tact
Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor counts, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
Collaborate with emergency responders if incidents escalate or require additional support

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and misconduct
Ability to remain calm, alert, and decisive in high-pressure situations
First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel
Vigilant observation skills with an eye for detail during patrols and inspections
Basic understanding of security procedures, including emergency response protocols
