Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Tyre Fitter and play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. In this energetic and hands-on position, you'll be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
Conduct tyre inspections to identify damage, wear, or punctures, and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
Perform wheel balancing and alignment checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres and wheels safely during installation or removal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use
Provide excellent customer service by explaining tyre options, maintenance needs, and safety tips clearly
Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to support overall workshop operations

Experience

Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, particularly tyres and wheels
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
Experience operating power tools used in tyre fitting and wheel alignment processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during tyre installation or removal
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Prior experience in automotive or workshop environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
