Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your enthusiasm for craftsmanship and attention to detail will help create visually stunning environments. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes accurately and efficiently.
Use a variety of tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects safely and effectively.
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver desired aesthetic outcomes.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure smooth application and flawless results.
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades.
Ability to operate driving vehicles for transportation between sites or materials supply.
Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and coordinate with team members.
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating styles.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
Physical stamina to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various environments for extended periods.
Valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is appreciated.
